Dear Affiliate Leaders,

This is a friendly reminder that ASRT will not be accepting applications for a 2021 Student Leadership Development Program cohort. Affiliates will need to suspend their application process accordingly.

Because the cancelation of the 2020 onsite Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting directly impacted the 2020 Student Leadership Development Program participants, the ASRT Board of Directors has extended an invitation to the 2020 SLDP cohort to attend the 2021 meeting in Reno, Nevada.

Due to the logistical challenges of having two SLDP cohorts participating, including venue capacity limitations, we will not be accepting applications for a 2021 cohort. The next application process will take place in 2021 for the selection of a 2022 cohort.

The application process will also be reviewed and updated before we reopen the program to a 2022 cohort. Affiliates should expect those changes to be announced prior to the 2022 application process and plan to adjust their current processes accordingly. Additional information on the changes will be available early next year.

The circumstances leading to this decision are unprecedented in ASRT’s 100-year history. Your understanding and patience during this time are greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions, please contact ASRT Governance staff by email.
