I was in charge of the Radiology department on the evening shift.  I was responsible for coordinating the pre-operative patients and emergency room patients and all stat or patients that needed immediate care throughout the hospital.

I was the Radiological Technologist for the operating room.  I coordinated all of the radiographic procedures that were done in the Operating room for that particular day.  I work closely with the surgeons in order to expedite the procedures while the patients were in the operating room.

I was promoted to Section Supervisor of the Radiology Department.  In this position, I assigned work to the Technologist; I coordinated the patient exam in order to keep their stay t as a minimum while in the Radiology Department.  I made up schedules for various job positions and I handle small complaints from staff and patients.

I was asked to be a part-time clinical instructor.  In this position I instruct the students on the various radiographic positions of the body.  The students also learn how to identify the anatomy of a patient by looking at the finished radiograph and how to adjust in order to make the film more presentable for the Doctor’s interpretation.

I transferred to the Computed Tomography Department where I perform the Computed Tomography Scans in The Computed Tomography Department and at the Hillman Cancer Center.
